Three By Three Seattle Keeping Tabs On Your Desktop
Seattle, WA - July 26, 2010 - No, it’s not a scary Big Brother initiative, but rather a new big brother to Three By Three Seattle’s popular desktop to•do board - the dry•erase desktop tablet! The tablet features a 10 x 9” dry•erase surface, which makes it almost twice as large as the to•do board, allowing the user to take more extensive meeting notes or flesh out ideas and designs. Like its predecessor, the tablet is a paperless, eco-friendly note-taking option, and also has a stand (removable for easy portability) for more convenient viewing and writing.
“The idea for the desktop tablet arose quite naturally from the success of the to•do board,” says Head Designer Gwen Weinberg. “People appreciated the bamboo material, clean design, and environmentally-friendly aspects, but some felt that the writing surface was a bit too small for their needs. The tablet gives them that larger option while keeping everything else they love about the original.”
In addition, the desktop to•do board, which was first offered in real bamboo only, will now be available in a sleek metallic silver color. “Our silver dry•erase is a beautiful, subtle finish,” says Anita Nadelson, CEO. “It was very well-received in our 4x11 dry•erase magnet board, and we expect it to be a hit in our desktop line as well.”
The silver desktop to•do board and the desktop tablet, which also comes in both silver and bamboo, will be available in October.

The company’s magnetic strip bulletin board design introduced the magnet board category as it’s known today. In recent years, they revamped the whiteboard industry with fresh, alternative dry-erase surfaces, including bamboo, glass, silicone, and stainless. Their current line consists of dry-erase boards, chalk boards, magnet boards, desk and wall organizers, hooks, and magnets. The design team also creates custom promotional products and has worked with a broad range of clients, including Nike, Starbucks, Herman Miller, Bravo Networks, Nine West, and W Hotels.
