Three by Three Seattle – Organizers Resurface with Retro-Classic Chalkboard

Seattle, WA – January 14, 2014 – Functional and sweet meets retro chic with Three by Three Seattle’s newest surface: the classic chalkboard. Those seeking to pair smart organization with modern style can find this versatile, vintage-inspired option on four existing products and two new additions.

Customers can rediscover the timeless write-on/wipe-off surface with four Three by Three favorites: the Sort It Out! wall caddy, the Entry Butler, the desktop To-do board, and the 4x11 magnet-backed enLISTer magnet board. Two new products will join the collection: the 5x18 enLISTer board, which provides all the features of its smaller enLister sibling but with room for longer lists; and the Weekly Planner, a handy organizer for corralling busy schedules. The Weekly Planner includes magnets to keep tabs on permission slips and invites, and seven spaces marked with weekdays, each with room to record yoga classes, dance recitals, soccer practice, and happy hours with friends.

Three by Three Seattle head designer Gwen Weinberg remarked, “I’m always inspired to infuse our line with new materials. I love the combination of the vintage feel of the matte black chalkboard paired with the sleek lines of our modern designs.”

Head of sales Mary Burnett added, “The to-do boards, Sort It Out! caddy and Entry Butler are top sellers in our line, so it was a logical choice to introduce the chalkboard feature with these Three by Three Seattle staples. And we’re excited to debut our two new products with this classic surface, reinterpreted for modern needs.”

smart. modern. organized.

Since 1995, Three by Three Seattle products have made busy lives beautifully efficient. Whether outfitting a home, office, or dorm, each innovative organizing solution is worthy of display in any contemporary setting.

The company’s magnetic strip bulletin board design introduced the magnet board category as it’s known today. In recent years, they revamped the whiteboard industry with fresh, alternative dry-erase surfaces, including bamboo, glass, silicone, and stainless. Their current line consists of dry-erase boards, chalk boards, magnet boards, desk and wall organizers, hooks, and magnets. The design team also creates custom promotional products and has worked with a broad range of clients, including Nike, Starbucks, Herman Miller, Bravo Networks, Nine West, and W Hotels.
