Seattle, WA – January 8, 2015 – It’s time for a birthday: Three by Three Seattle turns 20 in 2015! With plans to revive some old favorites, the company is looking forward to a year of celebration and growth.
Three by Three Seattle began as a high-end stationery business, featuring hand-bound journals with copper and aluminum accents. It was working with metal that first lead co-founders Gwen Weinberg and Anita Nadelson to enter the world of magnets when they created a magnetic picture frame. Prioritizing ingenuity and multi-functionality, the company moved on to routinely revolutionize the market through the next two decades with inventive products like their magnetic strip bulletin board and mighties magnets.
The influence of their early work with metal is still clear today in their sleek, modern alternatives for office and home organization. Always interested in evolving, the design company has also worked on expanding their line to include diverse materials used in unique ways.
“Although our business has evolved far beyond our original product lines, we’ve maintained our core focus on creating innovative and well-designed solutions,” said CEO Anita Nadelson. “What I’m looking forward to the most for our next twenty years is venturing into uncharted territories as we continue to discover new materials and repurpose them creatively and unexpectedly.”
