Playful and Practical: New Kanga Boards from Three by Three Seattle
Seattle, WA – May 14, 2015 – Three by Three Seattle introduces the kanga board! With a trendy chalkboard surface and whimsical pouch created with colorful elastic straps, the kanga board is another example of Three by Three Seattle’s commitment to imaginative, versatile design. The pouch holds anything from phones and pens to mail and sunglasses, while the chalkboard surface above has ample room for notes and reminders.
“I wanted the functionality of a peg board, without needing any extra components like hooks or bins,” said product designer Julisha Kim. “The elastic pouch acts as an aesthetic accent while also being practical.”
Kanga boards are available in four designs, each featuring a different color elastic. The 16-inch-diameter dot board comes with ochre, the 14-inch square board with red, the large 16 x 24-inch board with navy blue, and the 6 x 12-inch board with turquoise elastic. All styles come with wall mounting hardware, and the small 6 x 12 kanga board also includes a cord for hanging, magnet strips for use on metal surfaces, and adhesive mounting squares for use on any surface.
Kanga boards will be available beginning in July 2015.
